Director of International Research and Professional Services
Alex Kozulin is the Director of International Research and Professional Services at the Feuerstein Institute. Born in Russia, he earned his PhD in psychology at the Psychological Institute in Moscow. His areas of interest include cognition, learning and cross-cultural studies. Professor Kozulin is one of the leading experts in Vygotsky's sociocultural theory and the theory of mediated learning. He has taught and conducted research at several prestigious universities worldwide, including Boston University and Harvard University (USA), University of Exeter (UK), Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University and Achva College (Israel). Professor Kozulin has authored and edited several books on Vygotsky's theory, mediated learning and cognitive education.
